When using the offset weld-on spring saddles on your MK1 Caddy, the re-positioning of the axle means that the u-bolt clamp centre hole no longer lines up! 

Which means you have the arduous task of cutting an elongated hole in the original plate to allow it to sit square to the spring. These specific plates eliminate the need to modify your current plates.

Also these plates have a much lower profile than the originals, so there is less chance of ground clearance issues

Will fit all MK1 Caddys with or without and offset flipped axle
