When you mate a high torque engine to 02M/Q 6 speed gearbox it will eventually crack the casing due to opposing forces within the gear set
 
This plate is produced in S355 Structural Steel and then zinc plated 
 
Used as a preventative measure on both forced induction Petrol & Diesel engines to reduce movement
 
This plate also complements our 4th gear strengthener (not included) as seen in the second picture
